[She takes one of the packages in her arms, while the old woman nods and hurries out of the room with the other child, rather unnerved]
I can't risk having someone else take care of it and have it survive - it's better that I finish it off myself. [she places the package on the floor, and there's a glimpse of a crying dark-haired baby with pointy ears]
A child of Taishakuten might have been of use to me, but an Ashura child is nothing but an obstacle. Die! I wish you had never been born! [she raises the dagger and strikes down at the baby] |

That fog... those ghosts were really haunting the ones responsible for their death. That's how it has to be. This world always knows everything - about who everyone is, what they feel and dream about... that means it's true, doesn't it? That in the end, Ashura really is the only one to blame. Ashura tried to talk to him, and to... to Gigei. No matter what Ashura said, they wouldn't say anything. Were they really just illusions? Umi said it's just the world's opinion; that's it's not the truth at all. But no matter what everyone says - even if Yasha forgives Ashura------?
Yasha promised. He promised he doesn't blame Ashura. And Ashura... promised to believe him. Even if he's not here... that's all that counts. Ashura needs to listen only to him and not to the world. Maybe it's really just trying to make us sad, and creates lies to make that happen.
Ashura wishes Yasha were here.

Today, it's the longest time Ashura's ever been apart from Yasha.
It's almost summer now... Back in Tenkai, when Ashura last was there, winter was coming. At least, Ashura thinks s--- Maybe it was colder because we were close to that fortress, but Ashura does remember seeing a little snow even before the first snow fell in Miracle Country. It's strange - Ashura can't remember the landscape as well anymore. It was so long since Ashura last saw it.
Ashura wonders how far in the future Yasha is now. Is it midwinter for him already? Ashura just hopes he's not too cold... we can't get warm clothes in Tenkai like we can here. Winter here wasn't so bad at all. But then... maybe he's already in the future summer. Maybe even years and years have passed for him since Ashura was there! [o.o] But... he said it doesn't matter how far apart we are in time. That he'd always stay with Ashura anyway.
[...] He's got to come home soon.

Umi, can Ashura go with Fai-sensei and Kobato to the zoo? And to go see a dancing show together with him if one's ever put up here? We'll notice for sure if Taishakuten returns while we're out, and if anything dangerous happens, Kobato says she knows an attack called "Fist of Fury".
Something weird's going on again, isn't it? Is that why there's so much spiderweb everywhere as well? Maybe the spiders are being affected by the magic too and don't realise there aren't any insects indoors! Ashura took all Ashura could find in the room and carried them outdoors. Now they won't starve.
[ETA:] Hey! Ashura and Mokona think the things they're making us say and write are really about the people behind this world. Like what they think and who they are, but neither of us really understand all of it. If those who know more than we do help us, we may be able to figure out what they want with us here. Why hasn't Ryuu-chan come back yet? He's been gone a lot longer than Umi was now. If we were all together again... then we wouldn't have to worry. There's so little Ashura can do, but Yasha and Ryuu-chan and Souma would fight together again. Nothing horrible would happen again.
