[There's a brief accidental video of Ashura sitting curled up in a chair in a hospital room, looking very sad. It's a little hard to see, but that might possibly be Kotori sleeping in one of those eggs next to where he's sitting.]

Ashura doesn't like the tents. Aren't they going to go back to normal soon? It's almost been two weeks already. They're stupid.
Does anyone know how to get birds to come inside? Ashura's tried opening a window and giving them bird seeds, but they still won't come. |

[You'd think that, given the recent disappearances of a lot of Very Important People, the now very small MKR/RGV household would be a sad, sad place to live in. Apparently not!]
Hey, everyone! Mother [yes, that mother] wanted Ashura to ask all of Ashura's friends if they want to come have dinner with us the day after tomorrow. She says she wants to meet all the people that have been kind to Ashura. Please come! Ashura wants everyone to meet her. Everyone living with us is gonna be there too, so if you're friends with them you can come as well. Mother said she's making lots and lots of food.
Oh! Maybe afterwards, we can ask Gigei if she'll dance for us. It'll be great, Ashura knows it! |

[While most other people have been restricting themselves to gasps and groans during their transformations, Ashura screams, loudly and at length, before promptly fainting. Thankfully the journal records none of that, and only switches on some ten minutes later, when he's coming to again.]

[It shows Ashura, lying on his back on the floor, breathing heavily and staring up at the ceiling, stunned.]
What just--? Did Ashura pass out like that again?
[He shakily sits up, and seems to become aware of that something's not right. After a moment, he slowly brings his now claw-equipped hands in front of his eyes.]

Ashura liked it when it looked like it'd be summer again so soon, but... It probably should've been obvious that it wasn't going to last, huh? It'd make no sense to just skip spring like that. That heat would've been hard on people if it'd gone on too long, too. It's a pity Umi and Hikaru and Yuzuriha didn't come back in time for it. It would've been fun to go to the beach with them, too. [Kinda readable]
At least now, everyone will be able to have Valentine chocolates without them melting too quickly!

Christmas is the best holiday Ashura knows, with all the food and being together... If there's nothing like that in Tenkai, Ashura wants to celebrate it at least one more time here. But then, Yasha needs to be here.
